Volunteer Your Time
This is one of the simplest ways to help out our cause. We believe the best way for our initiatives to be successful is for the community to actively get involved. This is an easy and efficient way of contributing to the great work we do at Response, Inc.. Get in touch with any questions about how you can volunteer your time today.
Volunteer Opportunities & Training
As a Response volunteer, your time and talent will go a long way. You can be the missing link that many of our clients need by listening, teaching, or working behind the scenes. We have various opportunities available including: fundraising, court advocacy, hotline advocacy, childcare, community events, and sharing of special talents.
As a volunteer you can help us achieve our mission to prevent and help people overcome the problems of sexual and domestic violence and other forms of abuse through outreach, advocacy, and supportive services. The next training session will be this spring, with the exact dates to be determined. The amount of training hours required depends on which volunteer level you wish to participate in. Click here for more detailed information about the jobs available and the corresponding levels. If you are interested in participating in the upcoming spring training, please submit a volunteer application to beckyw@responseva.org or contact volunteer coordinator, Becky Wood, at 540-459-5599.
